Biochemistry
This Cycle is designed to give you an understanding of how the building blocks of life work. Matter is made of atoms and once you understand how these atoms behave, you can start to unlock the larger developments of life like proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids and lipids.
Cellular Biology
This Cycle focuses on the smallest unit of life - the cell. We explore cellular structure and the transport of molecules across this border, and we discover how the cell performs its many functions using its “tiny organs” or organelles. We end focusing on how cells are made for growth and repair.
Molecular Biology
This Cycle examines the interactions of biomolecules and the principles of inheritance. We explore DNA, explain how the cell makes proteins, and gain an understanding into how genetic traits are passed to offspring. We finish with a look at the exciting field of biotechnology.
